You can use snapz pro x to capture any video.

Movie Grab. You can select custom areas and the whole bit, just press cmd+esc when done. -Just a bit of a pain with an iMac with frontrow, as that activates that as you stop the video, but it's fine, it doesn't ruin it or anything.
