Hey guys,

thought I'd share two new videos of me.

The first one I've cut and edited by myself with FCP X, filmed with a go pro 2:

The second one was filmed, cut and edited by a friend with premiere, obviously he put much more time in editing then I did, as it turned out pretty cool!

Recommendations and advices for the edit and filming are welcome.

Thanks and hope you like it!

Regards,
Andi

Those are some serious skills (and cojones), I loved it. Especially when you go in reverse on the front wheel, like a reverse stoppie, is that a signature move? I had never seen it.

I liked that people don't look surprised or don't even watch, like it's normal "Yup, just another day at the office", haha!

Personally, for this kind of content, I prefer the third person view with the original ambient sounds and no music (or during transitions only, or faint in the background). It feels more real / raw / unadulterated which I tend toward in general.

Also, if you add fails like the penultimate clip in the second video, I think it's better to group them separate from the rest (like all at the end). I don't know exactly why, but when I'm watching a performance where the person can either fail or succeed, it feels disturbing not to know in advance which is going to happen.

Those are just my average joe viewer's opinion. Can't comment in the editing technicalities though, I'm no pro. But thanks for sharing, that was very entertaining :)

Hi Roman,

thanks for the feedback and glad you like it!

The backward-nose-wheelie is pretty hard and it took some years to get it dialed on longer distances. ;)

Yeah, the fail clip seemed a bit lost, however the video wasn't intended to be super professional (was filmed in an afternoon).

I'll be filming with a film- and copter-team this weekend, will keep you updated with new stuff (if you want?!). :)

Best regards!

Andi
