After running OCRKit for about 3 hours straight, I decided to run GeekBench 3 in 32-bit mode just to see the impact. My scores were 2623 single core and 5596 multi-core. Not bad considering they are arond 2900/6000 when it is fully cooled.

Core temperature drops pretty much immediately once the CPU usage drops as the voltage scales down, so makes sense.

As an aside, the OCR worked reasonably well, too. I had my Haswell Core i7 (4600U) notebook running OCR on Adobe Acrobat XI and my m7 MacBook running OCRKit and the latter was completing the task slightly faster than the Haswell Core i7. Granted the latter was occasionally running other programs in the background, and it wasn't an apples-to-apples comparison since I was running two different OCR programs, the m7 was impressive.
