I am having problems finding a suitable mount for my setup, I was wondering if you might have any ideas. I'd very much like to get the VESA mount 27" 2020 iMac and pair it with a 24" Dell.

The problem I am facing is that my desk is very thick, talking about 125 mm. There is no c- clamp that goes that wide. It is true that the desk is that thick only at the edge, further in it is much thinner but, due to the desk itself being a rather nice piece of furbiture, there is no way I will drill a hole in it in order to go for a grommet mount.

This leaves me only with the wall mount choice but, so far, I have not had any luck finding a mount that is strong enough.

Are there any options that I haven't manage to find?

Many thanks.

You also need the flexible arm to adjust the angle of the monitor?
If not, any TV wall mount is strong enough. If they can hold a 84" TV weighing 40kgs~50kgs, they can hold a 27" iMac of less than 20kgs.
I went for two separate monitor wall mounts in the end. I did think about tv mounts but yes, I'd rather have the option to tilt the screen to my discretion. Max weight is certified 20 kg, I reckon that should do.

I will probably ask my little daughther to climb on a chair and sit on it, to try it out first.

Then, again, maybe not... :))
