Have a 2ghz macbook 2006 with kp on boot
Tried for weeks:
resetting....pram etc. stated by apple
changed hd to known working hd
install cd1
black leopard os disk
known working ram, 1slot 2slot combo
no warranty left
HELP

I had this exact same problem about a year ago. Even though everything checked out OK (spent a few days at Apple Store getting looked at), it ended up being bad RAM. I bought 2GB RAM through OWC. Got it replaced and kernal panics stopped.
