I have upgraded to the latest OSX El Captain in my 2009 mid macbook pro
Everything went well and i was happy with new os, until system reboots
If the system restarts after new software installation, battery drains out or force restart, the booting screen stuck at apple logo phase (grey background) and will not proceed afterwards.
I tried different ways like starting at safe mode - disk utility - repair disk , tried resetting SMC, NVRAM
and no hope
Finally i tried starting on safe mode and reinstall the OS which took almost 4 hours (adsl 2+ connection) to complete and system boot into the desktop as usual. But while installing few apps. the system rebooted and i ended up facing the same issue again (i reinstalled the new os 3 times already).
I have got a new macbook pro 2015 and it works perfectly with new OS X.
Can anyone help me out in resolving this issue
