iPhone X Stuck at Approve iPhone

How the hell can I solve the damn problem with approving iphone when I have two-factor auth. enabled, without disabling it thus solving the problem :/ any thoughts? I don’t have any other apple device than the watch series 2..

I had TFA enabled on my previous phone (iPhone 7) and didn’t have that problem... it’s only on the X that I can’t approve it.

Don’t sign into iCloud during setup. Skip that step and login via Settings once you’ve reached the home screen. At the same time you’ll be able to request an authentication code via SMS.
