Hey guys, I did the new jailbreak today on my iPhone4 and my signal has been stuck on 1 bar all day. Any way to fix this?

Are you using ultrasn0w? Its just a cosmetic issue. You signal strength is still the same as it was before. But the picture isn't showing it correctly.

If you are on an iPhone 4 and you did the 4.3.1 untethered with the old baseband this is what happens. I did 4.3.1 but let the baseband update and I have 5 bars.

From what I hear it's cosmetic only. You have the same signal strength you always did. It's just not displaying properly.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_3_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8G4 Safari/6533.18.5)

I have this too - hoping for a fix..

Thanks for posting this. I think I will stick with 4.2.1 until this gets fixed in a week or so. It is not that big a deal since it sounds like is only cosmetic.

Right i seem to have found the problem, it was Tiny Umbrella stopping the Apple 4.3.1 update getting signed and seemed to stop the Baseband being updated. To fix the problem go into TinyUmbrella and in the Advanced preferences, unchecked "set hosts to Cydia on exit" and then restored by iPhone. Restore didn't force me into recovery and now I have full bars.

Let me know how you get on
