Stuck in Alaska?

I'm willing to bet they'll just stick mine on a truck from OAK to Reno. By car you can make it in about 3 hours, but semis usually take about 5 hours to get over Donner Summit. Still, plenty of time.

Tracking still says 10:30AM on the 23rd, BTW, same as when it was shipped.
 
Woohoo! Mine just landed in Indianapolis at 1:51am. Coming to Richmond, VA. Hurry hurry Mr. FedEx Man! (or woman!) :D
 
I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that the items that just got into the continental US originally stated to be delivered by 10:30am tomorrow, will NOT make that deadline.

Had customs not held that shipment for the better part of 24 hours, I think all would have been well, but, alas they did. Given such a small time frame to work around not much else can really be expected, honestly.

My phone arrived in Indianapolis @ 1:51am, and I have no clue as to how it is going to get to RDU considering no flights are scheduled. Last FedEx flight from Indy to RDU departed @ 8:47am and arrived @ 9:55am. Leaving it 30 mins to get sorted, on a truck and to my house in 30 mins? Highly doubtful. Oh well, I'll have it by Thursday, which is what I originally expected. Although Apple's email and FedEx still tell me that it will be delivered by 10:30am. Glad I have taken the week off after my emergency appendectomy.

And as soon as I pressed post, this little thing popped up on Flightaware:

FDX1738 Scheduled Departure Wed 04:27AM EDT Arrival Wed 05:34AM EDT

Looks like ol' Stevie did have his ducks in a row

You do realize that apple knew those phones were in customs and still sent the email .... Right ? ;)

It looks like our phones will be on FDX1514 to Newark, NJ... with an ETA of 6:29 am eastern time! Doesn't leave much time to spare?

Heh. Looks like mine will be on FDX1739 - Leaves IND at 4:31am, arrives in Richmond at 5:43am, and since I'm about 15 minutes tops from the FedEx facility at the airport, 10:30am is totally doable.

Excellent! I was wondering how in the world it would make it to RDU by 10:30am too! Now I can go to bed and wait for my phone to be delivered in the morning!

some of you people act like fedex doesn't know what they are going. They can get a package from point a to point b in a matter of hours anywhere in the country, no problem.

Check my edit, I mixed you up with the guy from NYC. Yours is probably going to Newark, unless FedEx has a hub in Philadelphia.
