Hi,
I'm not sure this is the right section but anyways,
I've updated my iPhone 3GS to 5.1.1 baseband 6.15 using a custom ipsw made with ultrasn0w.
So I am now stuck with a DFU loop, my iPhone won't come out of dfu doesn't matter what I do, Restoring in iTunes gives me error 28.

After some research I found out that the only solution for this error is to open my iPhone and remove the battery or let the battery drain

So I have two questions;
Is there a way to drain my battery fast?
Is it possible to see my iPhone's battery percentage on my PC since it's stuck in DFU?

Thanks a lot!

The whole battery thing sounds like nonsense. Try restoring from a different computer, that always works for me. If you can't, then try to Restore+Update, and then restore to your custom firmware.

From the iphon wiki:
Error 28
Hardware error. Return your device to Apple if possible. The problem is a bad dock connector on the iPhone. Must change the connector.
If you have tried almost everything, reset the logic board (leave uncharged for five days or remove battery for half an hour), then pwn and restore. If this doesn't work, the flash memory/hard drive of your device is damaged.
