Stuck in recovery loop

    I was trying to restore a 3gs to give to someone else but during restore it says an unknown error has occurred. I tried to kick it out of recovery using tinyumbrella but that didn't work so I was going to try to on redsnow but the phone won't let me put it in dfu mode.

    What firmware are you restoring it to? Does it have the iPad baseband? Create a custom firmware.

    Yea, go to the thread BFizzzle linked you too. He helped me out... I used redsn0w instead of sn0wbreeze.
