Stuck message

I've got an email stuck in Outbox, meaning it's struggling to be sent.

I can't delete it, edit it or even open it. It's just sitting there with the spinning wheel.

Consequently, it's draining my battery fast. From 100% to 7% in 40 mins earlier today.

I've tried closing mail, restarting the phone, nothing will remove or resolve the problem.

Any suggestions?

Remove the email account?

Put the phone on Airplane mode and go to your mail. After the sending process eventually stops, delete the message.

I removed the account. Will re-add later.
