Battery died at 10% for some reason and tried to turn it back on and now am stuck on this, what can I do without removing the jailbreak?

Plug it in and charge it? Common for battery %'s to be off but you just re-calibrated & didn't even know it...

Been charging and nothing has happened at all yet?

Should I wait longer or just put it to DFU?

try plugging it into the wall and booting it.

otherwise I had a friend that just had this issue and he had to reformat it (tried everything in the book)

why not tell us iPhone model, firmware version and if you are tethered or untethered.. that would be useful info that may help you. 😉

Probably be best to go into DFU and restore it.

But, you can JB 5.1.1 with Absinthe really easy.

Here is a guide to restoring your phone through DFU.

Thank you very much! 😀

Restored phone and jailbroke again and near to the way it was before. 🙂

In the future, try a hard reset (hold power and home untill it reboots), and or holding the volume up button while the phone boots (safe mode) before doing a full restore. The 5.1.1 resore/jailbreak was a good option in this case anyway, though. Glad you got it sorted out.
