I went into the other room to shower while leaving my phone on the charger. I came back and no buttons would work so I did a hard reset, which landed me stuck on the Apple logo screen. I tried connecting it to a mac and restore it that way, but get a 4005 error. I didn't change settings or do anything unusual. Help?

First time I have ever had anything like this happen.

Put the phone in DFU mode (Google) and then try an upgrade/restore with iTunes. You will lose your data, but you can restore from a backup when done.

If that does not work, then you have a hardware fault. Take the phone to Apple and get it replaced.

I had to take it in to get replaced. We don't have an official store where I live and the closest is 2 hours away, but I took it to a Simply Mac and they gave me a brand new one. Thanks for the advice and the post.
