Stuck on Apple logo

I just jail broke my iphone 3g which completed but now its restarted and stuck on the Apple logo.

What does that mean and what do i need to do?

try holding down the sleep+home button until the device turns off. Then turn it on again and see if it boots up.

The above should work, or you can try holding the sleep/wake button for around 15-20 second. I was stuck on a blank screen ones, then the home+sleep/wake button method didn't work, but holding just the sleep/wake did. Odd, but of well 😀

sorted now had to resort it to 2.2.1 then jail break again for some reason

Hm, that's strange. Has the Jailbreak gone smoothly?
