Stuck on Boot Screen - Help

Lion has been running fine on my MBP for weeks. All of a sudden today, the boot screen (grey screen with apple, with spinning circle at bottom) stays on the screen with the circle continuously spinning.

I tried turning off and on, waiting 20 minutes, etc. Any ideas? Thanks.

Had this problem. Turned out it was a corrupted HD.
