Stuck on macOS Sierra beta profile?

I did a clean install and restored a backup (and removed myself of the macOS beta updates) but I still keep getting the update at the Mac App Store. Any ideas how to reset the download so that it does not end up automatically updating it and being an annoyance when updating all apps?

I already tried searching other places but had no luck in finding a solution.

I had to do a clean install without restoring anything to get rid of the beta profil. Really strange behavior this time.

Your catalog for software updater (MAS) is likely still pointed at the beta catalog.

To reset to the default (production) catalog, type in terminal:

sudo softwareupdate --clear-catalog
