I just got my iPhone 6S Plus yesterday but I noticed a green bright pixel showing up on dark/black screens. But the funny thing is that it only shows in portrait mode. When I tilt the phone on that same dark/black screen the green pixel dissapears again.

Is it a software bug or a screen defect?

Noticed that it is not there on the black screen on startup / restore.

Hmm...

If its only in portrait it sounds like a bug, is this only in a certain app or any app?

If I for example load up a black image in safari it shows the green pixel - but if I turn the phone the green pixel is gone (in landscape mode). If active rotation lock in portrait mode and turn the phone the green pixel is still there.

In Spotify the green pixel shows up on the 'browse' page but when i scroll down it disappears again. It's like when there is white on the screen in the top (or bottom) the green pixel shows up on black/dark background.

Strange...

Well I have done a bit more testing. When the screen is all black you cannot see the bright pixel - but as soon as there is som light colors in the top or bottom of the screen the bright pixel becomes visible again. Will stop by the shop tomorrow and see it they can exchange it...
