Stuck with AT&T "Pay as you go Sim"

    I have bought an AT&T pay as you go sim card and activated it on their web site. they assigned me a new wireless number and 4 digit pin code, and was instructed to logon to "manage my account" for adding funds.
    However, when I try to logon, it is rejected as if the PIN is incorrect.
    If I try to use "forgot your password" they want to send a new password to my new wireless number which is not in use yet.
    How can fix this ?

    Your PIN number is the last four digits of your phone number.

    TRUST ME!

    Try the last 4 of your number. If this does not work, call AT&T. They're nice people and its rare that they'll shout you down. ;)
