Student-friendly macbook backpack

I dont think that they bite or have claws... but I have heard that law books are pretty scary overall!
Thanks for the advise everyone. I think my top choice right now is the northface surge. I'm definitely one to pre-plan, I dont need a pack for another two months or so- so there's still time to change my mind! ;-)

I can personally recommend the timbuk2 tracker backpack.

to me it is a small backpack, im 5' 8". it can expand to hold 1 or 2 books while holding the macbook in the dedicated laptop compartment.

it also has thick padding on the back so the laptop does not rest on your back.
