Hello all!

As we all might have seen on Apple's online store, the Educational price for Leopard is quoted at $116. But before ordering online, make sure that you head out to your on-campus university regulated, computer store/bookstore. Most of the college computer stores are still retailing the Leopard for $69, as opposed to the $116 online.

I have talked to several of my friends at various universities, and they all report that their oncampus bookstore/computer store is selling out Leopard for $69.

I believe that this should be the case in most of the established universities (if not all).

Report here if your university is not selling leopard for $69 with student ID.

CSU Long Beach was recently informed that they would have to sell "Leopard" for $116.00 (they will have 200 in stock). Yesterday, I was told that it would cost $69.00. It seems that I might as well order direct from Apple.com.

True. My oncampus store told me that they wont be able to get stocks on 26th, but after a couple of days. They again confirmed that they will be selling Leopard for $69, stating that they have not received any special instructions from Apple to force them to charge higher.

My oncampus store is at:
State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY.

University of Waterloo (ontario) is selling leopard pre-orders for $89 (with student ID), the same that Tiger has been since it came out.

Even though the canadian dollar is on par these days, still no $69...
