I am considering purchasing some software which is drastically reduced in price under the student licence program. My childrens school is listed on the site and I wondered if I can purchase this with them going to the school. The children are quite young and not at the age where they are using the software or the computer on their own.

I have no problem in confirming the children attend the school.

My question is, can I take advantage of the software price reduction based on the above ?

The idea is that the person worthy of the discount uses that which is discounted.

There are two education discounts across the Pond, right? Wait until they at least qualify for the first.

The site says the following

This site is for students and their parents and is intended to supply low-cost software for home use. The licensee of the products is required to be a University, College or School student in the UK.
