This is, I think, a separate issue from the delayed awakening. Twice now, I've tried to wake this monitor (used with a MacBook Pro M4), to be faced with a blank screen.

The first time around, the laptop display was working when I then opened the clamshell, but not the Studio Display 2 and I ended up rebooting the Mac.

I've just discovered that you can wake it up by pulling out the TB5 cable and plugging it back in, but this isn't ideal either.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, same issue. Studio XDR (new) directly routed to MBP M4 PRO, Studio (non XDR) routed into TB5 Dock with a few light peripherals and TB5 cable directly to MBP M4 PRO. XDR works ok (but wont go to 120hz unless the studio is out of the loop entirely/fresh restart. I did get them to work at 60hz simultanously but when I disconnected and reconnected the laptop only XDR will play (but everything else from the dock except the monitor works).

Going to run more GPT troubleshooting later but what a mess. My old XDR Pro and Studio +TB4 dock worked like a champ.

Also worth noting, my personal laptop is a M3 MAX and it works flawlessly with this connectivity setup. There's not enough throughput on the M4PRO for it to "just work" rn.

It happened to me twice so far today (both times while I was still actively using the machine), so it's not just a standby issue and starting to become annoying. I expect it's a firmware issue, but I'm not sure whether they're aware of it and will raise a ticket.

XDR must be connected after the non-XDR Studio. In this case both displays will be working in 60Hz. If XDR connects before the non-XDR Studio it will take all the "monitor bandwidth" of the computer for itself.
