I'm making a new thread because I can't see the videos on the previous ones on this topic. The screen flashes and I can usually replicate it by changing the page on Safari. I have it on video Problem. Is this the same kind flickering as in the other threads?

I powered down my M4 Mac mini and the display, unplugged the USB-cable and reattached it the other way round. After booting it now seems to work correctly so far...

Seems to be a software bug. I’ve seen the same phenomenon on mine and read reports from others. Not sure if the (presumed) fix will come as a macOS point release or a display firmware update.

Good to hear, I was worrying that my display was going bad. The problem hasn't come back since the reboot and cable turn.

I just started seeing this the past few days. At first I thought it was just adjusting brightness automatically, but its dark outside and the lighting has been the same. I've noticed it most if I go from a dark window to a bright window, so my theory is that it is related to auto-brightness.

That or the new studio display is releasing this week, so it's time for Apple to make the old one have issues 😂
