The VESA mount model is basically an large iPad and auto senses/rotates... be very curious to see if the standard base model has the same functional built-in ...just not 'activated' since its always sitting on its stand.

Someone please 'pickup and rotate' their *standard mount Studio Display to kill this hypotheses :)

No I meant your personal ‘standard mounts’ not the VESA model.

I was looking at the M1 iMac VESA... can anyone confirm if the VESA iMac has this feature too?

Apparently not without third party software

wow. its disappointing that the new 2021 VESA iMacs can not be rotated natively, yet my 2010 Mac Mini can rotate (90/180/270) in System preference -without third party app.

*Sigh*

Granted, my 2011 standard-mount iMac does not have that option.
