I'm currently using a TB3 cable with my Studio Display XDR. Is there any benefit to switching to a TB5 cable when I don't use daisy chain or any other devices with the ports?

Just checking before buying longer TB5 cable...

I think it might be limited to 60hz with the TB4? If you're able to set the display to 120hz with the TB3 I can't seem to think of any scenarios where you'd need the TB5 with a single monitor.

Thanks! Yeah, macOS reports 120hz.

Maybe you can check what speed the connection is at (under the system info of MacOS/Thunderbolt or usb). Depending on the length of your cable and its quality, you may already be running at TB5 speed (80Gbps). 5K 120Hz should not need more than a TB4 connection (40Gbps).
