I have an .mov that I need to send to someone. The file is 575.mb compressed. Is there a way to crush this further or break it up into smaller archives and send so the file size is lighter?

unRarX is an archiving utility that should let you split it into several smaller chunks.

It might also be a lot easier to just use DropBox or a similar service, in which case you would just email them the link to the file, not the file itself.
