I just recently upgraded my HDD in my Macbook Pro. Now I want to sell the old HDD but I forgot to reformat it. What program or external device did you guy use to reformat the hdd?

Just curious as to why you suggested Newegg Canada website? The OP is in Los Angeles, California, USA... :p

As mcavjame suggested, that should be what you're looking for. You could also seat it in an enclosure if you can't get an adapter. Also, Disk Utility is what's used to format the drive once it's connected to your computer.

Because I am in Canada and that's what I have bookmarked, but I know there is a US version of the site as well. It wasn't for him to buy, but to show the type of device he is looking for.

I figured as much. I was just trying to be a smartass... Guess that doesn't convey well over the Internet haha. I meant no offense though.
