Stupid Mini keyboard question

Can I use the Apple wireless keyboard that is already paired with my iPad or do I have to unpair it from the iPad to pair it with the Mini? Just wondering if I can use it for both

You can use it with both, but you are correct in that you will have to re-pair it each time you want to switch.

You can't use it on both at the same time. You can only pair it one device at a time.
