In the description of the PowerMac, I read that "All (video) cards include dual display support and ship with a DVI to VGA adapter."

Does that mean that each monitor output has it's own screen or do the outputs show the same image? I know this is stupid, but i wanted to know before I looked into buying one. I have never seen a dual monitor Mac in person, so i have nothing to base off of.

I believe that you can do either.

I have mine setup with a dual desktop at this point.

The PowerMac supports two separate displays.

Machine like the iBook and iMac mirror to a second display, but even those machines can be hacked to activate spanning.

The Mac Mini is the only Mac that cannot support two displays in any form.
