Stupid question about iOS5 and Mobile Me

I currently have Mobile Me and I'm unsure if/when I will upgrade to Lion. If I upgrade to iOS 5 without upgrading to Lion, will I still be able to access Mobile Me or will I have started on the path to iCloud without a way to turn back to my Mobile Me syncing?

I know that we don't have all the answers, just wondered if anybody had heard or read something.

You should be able to leave iCloud turned off in iOS5 and continue syncing to MM until they kill it.
