Stupid question... can Tiger be updated to Leopard using the Leopard Installation CD?

Yeah I know a very stupid question... but I have a MacBook with Tiger and we recently got an iMac with Leopard (of course). Can I use the CD that came with the iMac to update my MacBook to Leopard?

No, the disc that came with your iMac will only work on the same model of iMac, nothing else (no MacBooks, no other iMacs, no Mac Pros, etc).

Technically you could, but that is not discussed. Look around the forums for installing leopard on unsupported macs. This will give you an idea. I changed a recovery disk for an imac into a macbook recovery disk. You just have to look around.
