All iPads Stupid question does the latest iPad still have a headphone jack?

Of the three iPad models currently available on Apple’s website, the iPad Pro does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. The iPad Air and the iPad 10.2 still have the headphone jack. This information was discovered from the Tech Specs pages of the applicable devices (linked for each device above).
For the iPad Pro, you will need the USB-C to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter sold on Apple’s website.

Yeah, that surprised me as well.
Yeah, there's actually a whole DAC in there (sound chip, amp, analog converter). Of course there are higher quality ones if you have high end headphones. I have the lightning version. Wanted to try out the sound of it on my iPad (which already has a headphone output). I was simply curious and wanted to know what a nine dollar DAC sounds like. Not bad.

Yeah, surprised. I believe the test have shown sound is not bad, and I agree. Not equal to built in Apple DAC from the past, but really not bad with headphones that don't need much amplification. But people seem to have trouble getting the thing work properly, and deal with many defects. Mine Lightning one has worked fine.
Note, though, there are many many fake ones out there. Even if you think you buy a genuine one on Amazon, you can get a fake. Amazon puts all the boxes from third party sellers and their own inventory in one stash. And if you read the Amazon reviews you get equal complaints, and many note that what they received is actually a fake.
