Stupid question?

I'm sorry in advance if this is something really obvious that I just couldn't figure out.

If I receive an email from someone who isn't in my contacts is there any simple way to add that person to my contacts from the mail app? Or do I have to memorize the person's email and add it manually to my contacts?

Hovering over their e-mail address should pop up a little gray border. Clicking it should allow you to add them.

Works for times, dates, phone numbers, and e-mail; maybe more.
