Stupid Safari and it's uploading

So I just wasted about half an hour uploading a Youtube video, thinking yay, this time it won't freeze. Then it freezes with 2 and a half minutes left. Any idea why it won't upload properly? It really annoys me.

Tell us more. What kind of connection do you have. Etc...

It failed in Firefox after about 4 megs and had an error, so I am trying it without the progress bar.

What do you mean by connection? I am using ADSL, wired, never have problems with it, so no idea what's happening. My sister uploads a lot of photos to Myspace so it really shouldn't be stopping like this.

It failed another couple of times and said this:

Upload Failed: An unknown error occurred

Any ideas?

It's not your browser. Seems like it's your internet connection.

Uploading photos are different than videos. Photos are numbers of small files. Video is one large file.

As you said, it's not safari, because it failed in firefox too.

Restart your router / modem. Change your topic to something relevant, because safari has nothing to do with your internet connection.

Restart your computer too.
Also try the YouTube uploader without the progress bar.

Well, I got sick of it and did it in Safari without the progress bar and went to bed. And it worked! So I guess I'll just do that from now on.
