Stuttering video on wireless

When I try to watch a dvd or video_ts folder from my other PC on my brandnew MBpro via wireless connection it gives often stuttering video, very unpleasant.. I do not have this experience on my 4 year old laptop. Any suggestions?

You should considering increasing the reception somehow or get N-wireless?

DVD requires about 8Mbps to stream.
