iPad Pro Stuttering When Running 11” iPad (2020) on ‘More Space’ - A12Z not powerful enough?

Hi

I’ve recently been using my iPad Pro more as a laptop replacement and have changed it to run at ‘More Space’ display zoom so I can use Stage Manager more easily. It’s a 2020 model with a A12Z.

When doing this, it seems like animations are running at lower frame rates - swiping to go home, for example, does not look as smooth as usual.

Do others have this experience? Is it better on M1/M2 models?

I have been using it (more space on the same model) and I do not have the problem you described.

Like @ImKo96 no such problems using iPadOS 17 with this settings on that generation 11”, 128Gb. What apps are you running in Stage Manager?

No issues with A12X

Same. No issues on my 2018 iPad Pro either.
