This Stuxnet thing seems like a very big deal. It seems like it's different from the other junk people already have to worry about. So does Stuxnet effect us Mac users? If not then what makes it so different and such a big threat?

No, it doesn't. It was designed to target a specific type of Windows-based industrial control system.
