Hi,

I am about to buy an iPad Mini 7 for the family (it's actually the perfect size for us, replacing an iPad Mini 4).

My daughter is getting pretty good at drawing and will now use a stylus.

I didn't mind buying an Apple Pencil Pro as I could get it at a cheaper price but the battery life seems not so good.

After some research I have come up with 2 references: ESR Geo Digital Pencil and Tinymoose Pencil Pro Ultra.

I was wondering which is one is better ?

thanks

But the Apple Pencil Pro recharges when magnetically attached to the iPad. How is battery life a problem?

I have no issues with mine.

I'm in the same situation as you, we have both the apple pencil pro and the tinymoose pencil pro ultra. Not sure about the esr, don't own it.

My kids use the Tinymoose pen to draw, they seem to love it and I don't have to worry about them breaking it or losing it. It's already fallen quite a few times haha. Can always replace it relatively cheaply. Great quality pen for the price, works with iPhones and android tablets which is a nice bonus.

Well I have 2 friends having the pencil pro, battery does not exceed 3-4h of use
Are they holding it continuously for all the time? Or are they putting it down on the table instead of the iPad magnets when they pause for any reason?

how many hours can you use it continuously ?
I don't know - I have used it for extended periods and never had an issue. If I have any need to put it down, just to take a drink or bathroom break for example it goes back on the top of the iPad so I've never had it run out on me.
