Sub for (or old v. of) Dark Adapted?

Does anyone know of another Mac app (besides Dark Adapted) that lets you dim your screen completely to black? I recently (unfortunately) updated my software to v. 3, and they now require you to pay in order to use beyond 10 mins--which I'd be perfectly happy to do, except they've apparently gone out of biz, so you can't even do that any more.

Anyone know of any good substitutions (or a way I can downgrade back to the earlier non-limited free version)? Thanks.

I can upload the free version 2.3.7 of DarkAdapted to a free file hoster if you like.

I would appreatiate the upload of version 2.3.7 to a filehoster as I have a very similar problem.

The nice thing about DarkAdapted is, and this feature makes it kind of unique, that you can control it via applescript.
