Not sure if its just me but I think the audio quality isn't as good as it was on my s3. Whenever I plug my phone into the car aux and turn the volume up it gets very distorted never seemed to happen on my s3. I just turn the volume down on the phone and turn the volume up on the car stereo but just a minor inconvenience.

The audio quality is more or less on par with my old HTC One through the headphone jack (accept there's no sort of global equaliser which is a shame. I use google music because all of my music is online so can't even use the eq settings in the music app). It doesn't go quite as loud but I suppose that's a good thing for my ears.

Quality through the bluetooth receiver in my car is quite a lot worse.

Hope this isn't the case, one of the main reasons I'm looking to get an iPhone 6 is because I always figured the sound quality to be decent. Probably one of the biggest things that bugs me with my current Galaxy S4, the sound quality was noticeably worse than my 4S.

Going to have to have a good play with the 6/6+ when I get a chance.

As far as I knew, the galaxy s4 had one of the bet DACs on the market.

I went from 4s>HTC one and I'd say the HTC was slightly better (it certainly gave me more options with eq etc).

My 6+ minijack quality is great with my PSB M4U headphones. Seems about the same as my previous phone, an iPhone 5.

You won't hear a marked difference with some crappy headphones on any of the last 4 iPhone models.
