Subscribed to iTunes Match after I started Apple Music. Are they connected until the trial is over?

Now I have a mix of DRM and non-DRM on my other Mac. If I let my Apple Music subscription expire will the songs change from "Apple Music" to "Uploaded"? I don't see a way to uncouple Apple Music from iTunes Match; when I uncheck "iCloud Music Library" from Preferences, ALL the music (including "Matched") is removed from my other Mac. Unchecking "Show Apple Music" from Preferences seems to be cosmetic in that it only removes the ability to browse the Apple Music library.

TL;DR: Can I completely turn off Apple Music before the trial ends?
