Subscribing to podcasts in OS 3.0

Is it possible to subscribe to podcasts on your iPhone with 3.0 rather than having to do it in iTunes?

I thought I read somewhere that you'd be able to do this but I can't see how.

Not on your iPhone it wasn't; I know it can be done on your desktop.

I want this feature also. I looked and didn't notice it so far so I'm pretty sure its missing.
