Is there a way to enable subtitles in QuickTime Player? I know that it's possible with VLC, but I prefer QT since VLC lags a little on my MacBook. In QuickTime, when I click on View-> Subtitles, I see that it's Off and greyed out and there's no way to include the SRT file in the video like with VLC.

Download Subler, open the movie with it, drag and drop the subtitle file into the window, save, open the movie with QT and the subtitles should be there.

That worked! Thank you so very much :)

I should leave everything as is, right? I shouldn't mess with the Visual Settings or anything in Subler?

Yeah, just leave everything as it is. The only thing I use Subler for is adding subtitles and metadata (press the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner, add the metadata, save) in order for poster and info to show up in iTunes :)

Got it. Thanks again! :D
