Hey everyone I am not sure if this has been posted before, I did a search and didn't find anything.

I am setting up a subversion repository on my iMac and then using both my iMac and MacBook Pro to develop iPhone applications. When my MacBook is on the same network it can connect just fine, Xcode is using the following URL:svn+ssh://myusername@mycomputername.local/Users/Shared/Source/CocoaTouch

However, when my MacBook is not on the same network it says the host is offline and cannot connect. Back to my Mac works just fine however as my notebook can see my iMac and connect to it. My question is does anybody know if there is a way to change the URL Xcode is using so that it can see my repository even when not on the same network?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need to setup port forwarding on your local network for forward all SSH traffic (port 22) to the iMac in order for svn+ssh to work properly. The process for this depends on what router you have and, if you don't have control over your main router, it may or may not be possible.

Awesome, I have an airport extreme so I should be able to set that up.
