I know the MB CPU whine is not as publicized of a problem as it is (was) in the MBP, but it's definitely there and my machine has it.
I already know about the goofy software fixes, but I NEED a quiet machine (I recordand mix audio), so I'd really rather not have this problem at all. It's a week 39 build white 2.0ghz.
I was wondering if anyone here has either exchanged their Macbook or had it repaired because of the whine and actually ended up with a completely whine-free machine.
Any success stories? i just want to know if it's worth the trouble.
If not, then I guess I'll deal, because it's a pretty sweet computer otherwise.
