I live in SoCal, but am originally from the Netherlands. I still have a bank account there that I use. I wanted to download the Dutch bank's new iPhone app, only to find that I cannot get it as my iTunes account is restricted to US purchases only. For crying out loud, it is a FREE app! I shuttle back and forth between the US, Europe and Africa, so I can see this happening again. Am I really gonna have to have two Apple-ID's for this??? Come on, Apple, remove those restrictions. What good are they, anyway?
