First off, the M1 MBP is great. No issues so far. Except when opening the lid every time I use it. It makes a suction-type of sound. Like it gets stuck? Not sure how to explain. And sometimes it sounds like the screen is loose? Not sure. My 2014 MBP never had that sound. Maybe it's normal with the newer MBP's.

I wonder if there's a fix or we just need to suck it up? It doesn't affect my MBP in a bad way, it's just annoying.
Sigh - i don’t know. Question is, does it happen to all the new ones? I’m even reading about it happening on the pros
Yeah. I've read about it happening on this specific design to some Pros and Airs. There isn't a fix, it just goes away after a while or if you clean the corners? Not sure. We have until January to return or exchange so we'll see.

Have you tried turning P*rnhub off before you close it?
I replied to your PM. And nope, the sucking sound stopped after a while. It wasn't a defect.
