off hand, does anybody know where than nifty sudden motion sensor is located? is it in the actual harddrive, or elsewhere?

I'm planning on upgrading my macbook to a 120WD, and not like the sudden motion sensor is expendable, totally, or totally worthless... well... perhaps it is. but does upgrading the hd compromise it in any way?

It is not part of the hard drive. And replacing the hard drive does not remove it (the sensor) from the system, or harm it at all.

thnx, gimmee.

& for your trouble I'm gonna get on the line with motorola and have them dedicate their next phone to you:

No, it was a tribute to me. You're jealous that you don't have a Moto named after you.
