Suddenly extreme mobile data use from iCloud syncing

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I suddenly had extreme mobile data usage from iCloud while tethered to my iPhone resulting in extreme costs. Is there anyone who recognizes this problem, how it is caused and what solutions are for preventing repeats in the future.

As for scale, iCloud was suddenly syncing about 100Gb and I have no idea what caused it.
